Crock Pot Breakfast Cobbler
Crock Pot Breakfast Cobbler
4 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups granola cereal
Place apples in slow cooker and mix in remianing ingredients. Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours (overnight) or on high 2 to 3 hours. Serve with milk. Serves 2.

Healthy Granola Bars
6 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
6 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Preheat oven to 325. Spay 10 by 13-inch baking pan. In large bowl, cream together butter, honey, peanut butter and oil until smooth. Stir in rest of ingredients. Press into baking pan with back of spoon that has been dipped in warm water. Bake 15 minutes or until the edges are browned. Cool and cut into bars. Makes 24 bars.
