What did you have for breakfast?

My hublet retired in January and now I am looking for new ideas for breakfast.

I like tomato soup which he doesn't. Yesterday we had fish sticks which were absolutely tasty and filling. I haven't thought about fish sticks in years but I had a craving last week.speechless I rarely fed them to my kids.

Anyway this morning I had V-8, toast, and eggs over easy. What did you have?

lol I love breakfast, but I hate cooking in the morning. Right now I'm having a bowl of Raisin Bran. ;) I have a really good recipe for a breakfast casserole. I'll have to dig it up and post it in the recipe swap.

I'm not a breakfast person, but now that I'm pregnant...if I don't eat I get sick. On weekdays it's usually a Special K strawberry cereal bar or a bowl of cereal. On weekends I will go for oatmeal, cereal, or french toast sticks.

This morning was Eggo french toast sticks. :D

I bake muffins in batches and we can heat them whenever we want. There are actually some healthy muffins recipes out there too. Different ideas include breakfast burritos and breakfast pizzas too. :)

It was Sunday

I usually have fruit or a fruit smoothy but it was Sunday and decided to treat hubby.

I had biscuits and gravy and eggs. I did a healthier version. Soy sausage gravy, home-made whole wheat biscuits with non-hydrogenated shortening, and organic eggs. It was NOT low fat but at least his arteries won't clog today.smiliebow
