I Need Therapy!

GOOD! I really need some therapy right now. I've spent 5 days working on my computer! speechless I couldn't get online and I was in withdrawal. I finally got it to where I can get on for awhile, but then I lose my connection over and over. I'm pretty sure it's because my internal and external modem are fighting each other.:( BUT, the guy at the store told me "No, you don't have to remove your internal modem, the external modem will just bypass it" RIGHT! The outside of the box doesn't say that, but when you open it, it tells you to remove the old modem before hooking up the external one! If I had wanted to get into the inside of the computer I would have just bought an internal modem to put back in it's place. It was less than half the price of the one I got. So I'm trying to bypass that one by changing settings. At least I can get on for awhile before getting booted again. Thanks Doctor for the Therapy, I just needed to VENT.:D

I'm working with a new client who tells me today that her cancer has reoccured and is incurable . She will be intreatment for the rest of her life to stay alive. Her optimism is wonderful, but she is as scared as I'm sure most of us would be. Have your mammograms yearly ladies. As I have an 18 year old who, by the mercy of God and the wonderful people at St, Jude Children's Research Hospital, has been in full remission from Hodgkins Lymphoma for 1 year this week, I feel joy and sorrow. Thanks for letting me vent, Sort of a rough day...

LOL. Thanks Lori Ann. I spent the first 4 days trying to track down the problem. Changing cords, going to places inside the computer that I didn't know existed before, etc.:D So for now I'll accept the resident IT specialist.lol wavesmiley
