4 Healthy Habits Help You Live Longer
Engaging in four healthy behaviors could help you live up to 14 years longer, according to a study
of more than 20,000 men and women. The four habits are: not smoking, being physically active, drinking alcohol moderately (1-14 units a week; a unit of alcohol is half a pint of beer, a glass of wine or a shot of spirit) and eating at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day. In particular, people who engaged in all four behaviors were less likely to die from cardiovascular disease and cancer.
