I like the way the mom in the poem handled it too. Dr. Phil had some kids on one day that thought they should get whatever they wanted whenever they wanted it. He told their parents all they owed them was food-not necessarily what they wanted. Clothes-any kind any brand. And a roof over their head. He told them that EVERYTHING else is a privelege...to be earned and given. Not demanded.
