I'm still waiting on my dinner. I've never had much luck with crockpots so I called my daughter earlier today to get some tips since she uses them often. I put a 3 lb. pork roast and vegetables in a little before 6 PM and put it on high for 4 hours. I went in at 10:30 PM all ready to eat and the roast was still bloody inside! I put it back on for 4 more hours on high. I think I'll give up on crockpots. Meanwhile I grabbed a ham sandwich.
I use mine all the time........remember to add liquid of some sort and never open the lid.
I usually cook my meals on low all day............mmmmmm tender.
