It's not exciting for most people, but I am excited about it. I'll be starting an afghan as soon as the yarn I ordered last week gets here. I crochet, but it's been mostly small projects. It's been a long time since I've crocheted a project of this size, and only the 2nd afghan I've ever made.
I spent a lot of time since this winter crocheting or using my Knifty Knitter looms to make hats for my friend to sell at our Relay for Life in September, all the sales will go to the American Cancer Society. The leftover adult hats I will donate to a charity, and the infant hats will go to our local hospital for newborns.
