Nan, I think I have that one on my Kindle, downloaded it when it was a freebie a long time ago, haven't read it yet but glad to hear it is good.
I finished The Outcast by Jolina Petersheim last night, loved it! It's not at all your typical Amish/Mennonite fiction; I didn't get the feeling that the author was trying to "preach" to me as in some books of that genre.
Now I am reading A Room of My Own by Ann Tatlock, a coming of age story set in 1932.
