I was going to ask myself since I don't understand the distinction between "Active" and "Member". Is it a matter of posting? Of logging in? Of opting out?
I really don't know what to think until I know what the criteria is for the two member classes.
It's probably logging in. Maybe some people signed up, but they forgot or just did it for a friend. I've belonged to several message boards where I am no longer active, but it's rare in this case because it's only been up a little over a month.
People who are considered "inactive" are the ones who never clicked the link in the confirmation email when they signed up. Sometimes, those automatically generated emails are filtered out as spam. So if anyone is having trouble, let me know and I can confirm you manually.
We have 1069 members and 713 active. Where are the rest of you?
