Default Friend's daughter turns 16 this month any suggestions?

Well most of you know I am bedridden for a while. My best friends daughter is having her sweet 16 on the 24th, and I am stumped on a gift. I really cant afford to spend more than $50. any suggestions??
thanks!

Is she responsible for buying her own car? If so, just give her the money to save up or buy her a gift card for gasoline.

I've given my cousin who is turning 17 a visa gift card. She can buy anything she wants from any place that accepts visa.
She is extremely hard to buy for and she prefers $$ over presents.. (fyi last year she wanted cash for her 16th big party) I personally would've wanted to buy her something that she could've kept for the special occasion but oh well, she didn't.

Good ideas-the first thing I thought of was a gas card (my 17 year old son would love it)

I agree. Gift cards are the way to go.
