I hadn't thought about this place in years. My mom and I used to go there. I love the malt vinegar on my fish and chips. None in CO...

My supermarket ad had a recipe for authentic fish for this dish...

Coat pollack filets with cornstarch and fry in a lil olive oil. That's it! They were so good with the malt vineger.

Don't forget to buy a tabloid newspaper to serve them in...

They make great fish and chicken items. Used to go to one near
where I lived in Northern Virginia. But, alas, out here in the sticks
of Virginia they haven't even heard of it!!

I used to love that place too. We actually had one open in our mall a while back, but they have since closed. It wasn't as good as it was when I was little though.

HOw about the hushpuppies and little crunchies on the bottom of the fish??? Yummmmmmm malt vinegar too
