A couple of years ago, I got tired of my cream makeup rubbing off on my clothes and saw I saw a BE infomercial I thought Iíd give it a try. WOW, what a great makeup line. I did order a starter kit, and then found my way to EBAY where IĎve purchased samples from a couple of sellersóColorful Sprinkles and Seeka. I liked the starter kit idea since I didnít know what all I would need, but quite honestly the video is lame; and you can get the same info by watching QVC or an infomercial. Look for kits that have several different kinds of brushes, since thatís how you apply the stuff. Plus the product is so highly-pigmented that it last forever.

Yes, itís a good idea to use different brushes for the foundation, mineral veil, and warmth since each one is a different color. AAMOF, thatís where Iíve spent most of my $$. I have an old coffee mug full of brushes, with some being the same size, so I just dot one w/red nail polish to tell them apart.

RE: Does the powder rub off on all your clothing? Yes, but so does cream foundation (one of the main reasons I switched).

Does your bathroom get powder everywhere when applying it? Not terribly. I have a lighted makeup mirror and simply put a tissue under my pots and Voila, no mess. I also put on my face prior to putting on my clothes, and just make sure I donít get rub my clothes on my face.

One other benefitómy post adolescent/menopausal acne has ceased to be a problem.

Also for more help and info, you should visit http://www.beaddicts.com, where youíll find just about everything and anything related to BEófoundation, eye shadow, blush colors, brushes, tips and a great forum that can help you learn how to use this product.

I started using it also because my liquid foundation would rub off, and when i bought a liquid that wouldn't rub off, i couldn't wash it of at night and my acne got worse.

I have found that bare essentials doesn't rub off for me and it still looks good in the afternoon and even though the commercials say that you can go to sleep in it I try not to, but there have been times that I have fallen asleep and it was still on in the morning.

The best part about it, is that my acne has cleared up and I quit spending all that money on proactiv which never seemed to work anyways.

I just got around to buying the miniture bukie sp? brush and it makes a world of difference in applying the make-up, instead of the one that comes with the starter kit. I use the one that comes with it for warmth only, that way I don't get more warmth on when applying the mineral veil.

I haven't bought the big buki yet, I have been using the baby buki. I'm glad to know that there is a diffference. I'll add that to my reorder list! By the way, if you are ordering just a few foundation products, It might be cheaper to order the starter kit. You could always split the price/products with a friend and the extra brushes make great gifts!

I just ordered this whole kit at http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml%3B$sessionid$E5BV0ZNDWBPZZLAUCJ4BXCQ ;jsessionid=E5BV0ZNDWBPZZLAUCJ4BXCQ?categoryId=A17 &id=P116620 because i was running low on just about everything. (it comes with a bottle of the Skin Rev-Upper, but the "great gift idea" sign is covering it)

Also, you always get 3 free samples with sephora, but at checkout enter the code AMAZING4 and get this deluxe sample bag:

Not a sale, but you get lots of goodies

Someone already asked this question, but I don't recall seeing the answer...

Does anyone know when bare minerals "expires" once opened? What about unopened?

I have only been using it for 6 months or so, so I dunno?
