Default Do You Ever Sell Through Consignments?

I realize the big thing these days is the internet auction sites, like
eBay. I have heard the good, the bad, the ugly, and some really ugly
stories from people that use those type sites.

As for me, I find taking items I no longer use or want to consignment
shops works just as well with very little hassle. Maybe I don't make
as much as through auctioning, but every little bit helps. And, just
like ebay and other sites like that, the consignment shops take a
percentage of the sales. Most of the shops ask you if you want items
back if they don't sell or will you donate them to charity. One shop
I use right now sends whatever doesn't sell after a certain period of
time to churches supporting victims of Hurrican Katrina.

What I really like about doing this is it saves me the hassle of
doing a yard sale.

So do any members do this and how do you like it?
