1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. No one is ever required to pay a fee or make a purchase to enter or claim any of the prizes awarded.
2. The sponsor of the Sweepstakes is See's Candy Shops, Inc., 20600 South Alameda Street, Carson, CA 90810 ("Sponsor").
3. The Sweepstakes will run according to the monthly entry schedule below. One winner will be selected for each month among all eligible entries for that month. Non-winning entries for one month will automatically be included in subsequent months (e.g., a non-winning entry for Month 2 will be included in the selection of winners for Month 3). Winning entries, however, will not be included in subsequent months (e.g., the winning entry for Month 3 is ineligible to win Months 4 and 5). The Sweepstakes monthly entry schedule is as follows:
Month 1: Starts at 12:00:00 AM PST on 8/1/06 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PST on 9/1/06.
Month 2: Starts at 12:00:00 AM PST on 9/2/06 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PST on 9/29/06.
Month 3: Starts at 12:00:00 AM PST on 9/30/06 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PST on 10/27/06.
Month 4: Starts at 12:00:00 AM PST on 10/28/06 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PST on 12/1/06.
Month 5: Starts at 12:00:00 AM PST on 12/2/06 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PST on 12/29/06.
4. The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States of America or the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older.
5. Prize: Five (5) winners will receive one box of See's Candies every month for 12 months. Approximate Retail Value: $500.00; total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes offered: $6000.00.
6. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. However, an earlier entry potentially has better odds than a later entry because the earlier entry will be eligible for more monthly drawings (e.g., an entry in Month 1 has up to five chances to win while an entry in Month 4 has only up to two chances to win).
7. To enter the Sweepstakes: Complete and submit an entry form for the sweepstakes at
www.sees.com. Entry dates, which determine which monthly drawings the entry is eligible to win, shall be determined by the date an entry is actually received by Sponsor. Only
one entry per family unit is allowed (a family unit is those persons having the same last name and address).
The winners will be determined by random drawings conducted by Sponsor from among all eligible entries on or around the following dates: Month 1 winner selected on 9//1/06; Month 2 winner selected on 9/29/06; Month 3 winner selected on 10/27/06; Month 4 winner selected on 12/1/06; and Month 5 winner selected on 12/29/06.
Attempts to notify the winner will be made by e-mail and/or regular mail within seven (7) days of the drawing. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, late or misdirected mail or delivery or computer transmission problems of any kind.
