Question Do you have a Santoku knife?

Slice, dice, and mince foods with a traditional Santoku knife.

If you do, what do you think about it? I was thinking about buying one.

I don't have one, and I've never heard of one, but here's some feedback from Consumer Affairs. I know that's not what you're looking for, but I thought it might help anyway.

...it is supposed to be the most popular knife in the USA right now. Taking over as "all purpose". I think it is Japanese origin.

I will have to borrow my friend's CR login. Thanks Michele.

It is a style of blade with many manufacturers.

I have Henckel Five Star and Pro S knives but wondered if anyone had used this blade.

I have the knife shown at the top. It's fantastic. Those little ridge things keep food from sticking to the blade. I would highly recommend it.
