Join us on Saturday, May 19 for the “Mom, the Everyday Athlete”
nationwide run/walk. The Wheat Foods Council (WFC) joins forces with seeMOMMYrun to set a world record for the most steps taken by moms
in one day.
With the help of seeMOMMYrun, an organization that enables moms to
begin or find running/walking groups in their area, moms of any fitness
level from all over the country can participate and celebrate their
“everyday athlete” status.
It is easy to sign up and a great opportunity to meet other moms in your
area and make strides toward a healthier lifestyle. Here’s how it works:
1. Begin your Journey. Register here if you have
not created a Mom, the Everyday Athlete account.
2. Find or begin a running or walking group in your area with the help
of seeMOMMYrun. You will also use this site to schedule your run/walk
on the day of the event.
3. Use the WFC nutrition and fitness training resources to learn how to effectively energize your body and improve your fitness ability for the

track your steps on the day of the event and return to the WFC Web
site to enter them into the step counter.
