1/2 head green cabbage, sliced thin
4 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 package ramen noodles, uncooked, broken into small pieces
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 package chicken flavor ramen seasoning
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
Toast almonds and ramen on a cookie sheet in oven at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
Mix cabbage and onions in a large salad bowl. Prepare dressing in a separate container. Refrigerate both for 2-3 hours.
Just before serving, toss salad with ramen, almonds and as much dressing as desired.
Whenever I make this for a potluck, I get many requests for the recipe. It's YUMMY!
