Are you just out the rebate - its a nice rebate - $50. That would make it cost more than the same thing over at Amazon.
Something similiar happened to me with two purchases of seperate items on Amazon last year. A coffeepot and a teakettle. Although on the website it appeared to be two different deals and rebates. I only got ONE rebate, company said it was one offer - not two, which meant I paid full price for the dern coffeepot. I ended up giving these as gifts so it wasn't 'that' bad - but still!!!!! The ONLY reason I bought them in the first place was because they were next to nothing with the rebate....
Buy.com is a reliable store. They've been in business for 10 years, I think. I've ordered from them many times with no trouble.
The rebate only requires you to buy the item by 10/31. You have 30 days from then to mail it in. You will definitely receive it by then. Their site says it ships in 1-2 business days, so you should have it within a week of ordering.
I have this camera and dock at work. We purchased it a couple of months ago and love it!!! Very simple to use. I am buying another one here for my 10 year old for Christmas!
