"You are being asked to participate in a research study to explore how siblings make decisions about assuming caregiving tasks for brothers or sisters with intellectual or developmental disabilities when parents are no longer able to do so. You will be asked to complete a survey about your experiences in making decisions about providing care for your sibling and the impact of those decisions on you and your family. You will be asked for caregiving-related information about yourself (and others who may help in making decisions), some information about your sibling with a disability, decision-making style, and future plans. Only you complete the questionnaire, not your brother or sister. The survey should take 30-45 minutes to complete."
