Backed up and printed a second copy. Just wished I had been able to copy in black and white so it wouldn't use so much of my colored ink.

Default Printing in black and white

You can print in black and white by going under Print Setup and changing your printer to print only in black and white (either for one print time or always). Change it back for when you want color.

Another great hint for saving BOTH ink and paper that works for me is this: also set your printer to show you a "print preview" and if that shows one of these types of coupon print-outs where they do a FULL COLOR commercial (I hate this practice...it is a pet peeve of mine!) in addition to the coupon, you can cut your paper to coupon size and then print. I have done this for years now and it always works for me, but you do have to have a printer that feeds from the top and prints the page as shown and not the opposite direction. This way, you can get at least 3 coupons to a sheet of paper instead of just one and you don't have to cut off and throw away all of the paper and colored ink!! You would think with all of the "green practices" that companies are bragging about, this would be a good one, as well. I have written and suggested this to several manufacturers and coupon sites, maybe some of you would like to do the same.

Don't have a top feeder, but I do flip the paper over and print on the other side. No one seems to mind that one side of the coupon is "decorated".

Another way to save on printer ink, is to go to the bottom of the
bricks coupon page and click on HELP. You will get the page where
you can fill in your info to have them mail the coupon to you.

Since stores in our area don't accept internet coupons, I always
request coupons be mailed to me. They arrive in about 3 days.

Of course, when we do this, it opens up another whole set of "ungreen" circumstances! So no matter how hard we try to do the right thing, sometimes we are forced to do what is not practical. This would be the only option open to you IF your local stores don't accept Internet coupons, but would not be a good idea if your object was to save on ink. As they say, "Damned if we do....damned if we don't"!! Here is a link to a very interesting article about this very problem with coupons that has some great hints and interesting info.
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Parenting/...5335397&page=1
Ladies, I submit, as Bargain Buddies, we are on the front lines to do something about this and we need to be loud and clear about this problem and be proactive in helping to stamp out counterfeit coupons. Don't just stand by and let your local store refuse your coupons across the board. If the coupon can be read by the scanner or accepted when the upc is typed into the register, then it is a LEGAL coupon! Many stores who say they do not accept these coupons (unless they are small and locally owned) are actually going against corporate policy and should be reported.
Sorry about getting so carried away, but this is a subject I feel very strongly about and my take is this.....stores will accept our cash even though it could possibly be counterfeit, but they have the nerve to insult us by refusing our perfectly good coupons. You don't have to make a scene, but just be smart enough to go online and check corporate policy before you accept a permanent "no" from your store. I have heard of many WalMart stores and managers who are refusing these coupons and they are not supposed to according to corporate policy! So, do your part and check on it and also take heed of the hints and suggestions made in the article linked above. Okay....off of my soap box for now!!!
