Here's What You Should Be Eating For Lunch
Two-thirds of working Americans pick up lunch from a fast food restaurant at least once a week. According to Yahoo! Health, that could end up being a lot worse than you think. Did you know that eating the wrong thing can sap your energy from the rest of your workday? And that's not even mentioning the calories you're piling on! If you overload on carbs, you can cause your energy to spike too quickly, resulting in a crash during the home-stretch of your day. Instead of eating the regular options at these restaurants, try changing it up a bit.
For example, if you eat at Panera - a place that loves to let you believe its healthy - having their Italian Combo on Ciabatta bread is equivalent to eating six slices of Papa John's pizza. Try smoked turkey breast on sourdough. It cuts out well over half the calories and fat. Another fast food staple is Burger King, but a Triple Whopper sandwhich can set you back 1,230 calories. Try just the regular cheeseburger for only 330 calories. You're energy - and your butt - will thank you later.
Don't get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.
