Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke raised his eyebrows at Obamacare’s nearly $1 TRILLION plan having the ability to reduce overall health care spending (Congressional Budget Office Director, Robert Reischauer, has some reservations also). Bernanke told the president’s new deficit commission that any benefit from the plan would depend upon its implementation. Ya gotta wonder if Congress is actually going to ALLOW that $500 BILLION to be CUT FROM MEDICARE, as the plan states. Reischauer said it would take at least 5 years to see if the plan proposals actually reduce spending as the president has promised, particularly since “Medicaid costs will rise significantly because the program plays the primary role in expanding coverage among low-income populations.”
