How to Enter: Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on May 3, 2010, until 5:00 p.m. ET on June 11, 2010 (the "Sweepstakes Period"), you may enter the DIY "Sweat Equity Challenge 2010 Sweepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") online by visiting the Do It Yourself Network ("DIY") website and completing the online entry form by providing your name, complete address, phone number (including area code) and valid e-mail address (limit
one online entry per person and per e-mail address per day);.
Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions and commonwealths who are 18 years of age or older. Employees and their immediate families. This Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited by law.
Prizes-
(A) Weekly Prizes: Six (6) Weekly Winners will each win $10,000 in cash (awarded in the form of a check). Total value of Weekly Prizes: $60,000
(B) Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win $75,000 in cash (awarded in the form of a check). Total value of Grand Prize: $75,000.
Total value of all prizes in the Sweepstakes: $135,000.
Drawing and Notification: Six (6) Weekly Prizes will be drawn from a
"watch and win" where viewers are asked a question about each Wednesday night's episode of Sweat Equity (at 9 p.m. ET) and 10 Grand in Your Hand (at 9:30 p.m. ET) airing on DIY Network, then go to DIYnetwork.com to answer it.
Winners are only drawn from correct answers. Entrants for the weekly drawing only are encouraged to watch the television series on the following airdates: May 5, 2010, May 12, 2010, May 19, 2010, May 26, 2010, June 2, 2010 and June 9, 2010. A question will be appearing during each show, and viewers will then be asked to go online to enter the correct answer. The question appears on the entry page each Wednesday night at 10 p.m. (ET), and disappears the following Thursday at 5 p.m. (ET). Only correct online answers will be considered eligible entries for the weekly drawing. You do not have to answer the question to enter for the Grand Prize.
The six (6) Weekly Winners will be selected each Friday after the Wednesday airdate from all eligible entries on the following dates: May 7, 2010, May 14, 2010, May 21, 2010, May 28, 2010, June 4, 2010, and June 11, 2010. The Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about June 28, 2010 by Ritway, Inc., and will be contacted either by email, by overnight courier and/or by phone within approximately five (5) calendar days from the drawing. All non-winning entries from weekly drawings and new eligible entries received daily will be considered for subsequent Weekly Prize, and Grand Prize drawings.
The names of the Grand Prize Winner and the Weekly Prize Winners may be posted on the DIY Website. Main Sponsor's decisions with respect to the winners and other matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes shall be final. Potential Grand Prize Winner and Weekly Prize Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity, and return same, properly executed, within seven (7) calendar days of issuance of prize notification.
