Thumbs up Crockpot pulled pork YUM!!!!!

My friend gave me this recipe and I just tried it. You get a 3-4 lb. pork roast and take 1 tsp. of liquid smoke and rub it all over the roast. Also rub some salt on it. I didn't use much since pork is salty already. Let it cook in the crockpot on low for 8-10 hours. You don't have to put water or anything either. It has a good flavor. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it's good and fast too! Let me know if you try it.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the recipe.

I often put a big pork shoulder roast in the crockpot and cook it until it falls apart. I don't add anything. In fact I did it this week...we had Thai pork stir fry one day, Mexican Green Chile another, and I still have some for BBQ.

I love your screen name googles!

Yum! That sounds good too. I wasn't sure if I would like the smoky flavor, but it's good. It's like pork at a Luau. My friend is Hawaiian and she is the one that actually gave me the recipe. I had a free sample of the liquid smoke, so I thought why not try it..

Thanks.. I don't even know how I came up with that screen name. I did years ago and I use it on everything.. that was before I knew about "google"

I have a free sample bottle of liquid smoke too. I just never quite knew what to do with it, so now I do. Thank you for the recipe.

Sounds Great! I love Liquid Smoke. It makes anything taste like hot off the grill bar-b-que

Tired of all those hotdogs, hamburgers for your next cookout pulled pork all these recipes included make a good substitute served on kaiser rolls.

3 lbs of pork (your favorite roast)
1/2 c worchester sauce
1 1/2 c your favorite bar b que sauce

Cook pork with worchester sauce in crock pot for 8 hours or how ever long you want it to fall apart
Remove from pot let cool to handle
In the meantime put drippings and bar b que sauce in fry pan and heat.
Pull the pork and add to the mixture and mix well and ready to serve

I put a pork roast in the crockpot before I signed on this a.m. It has been SO cold and rainy here in CO that I have been cooking things I usually do in the fall and winter.
