I feel old! The "little" girl from down the street came to the house today and I figured she was selling something for school. But Nooooo...it was a graduation invitation! She is not supposed to be that old yet!

No, we are on the other side of the state. Nancy, momnick8, is on the East side of the state. I hope they are okay!

The flood is to be diverted through the Achafalaya Swamp. Many towns are being evacuated because they are expecting many feet of water. One report said that Morgan City, down close to the coast may get as much as 25'! They were really impacted by the oil spill, since the big industries there are commercial shrimping and fishing and the oil industry.
