Default Lemon-Grilled Salmon

Lemon-Grilled Salmon
2 teaspoons fresh or 3/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons chicken broth
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
1-1/2 pounds salmon filet
1 small lemon, thinly sliced
2 onion slices, separated into rings
Sprinkle dill weed and seasonings over salmon filet and place in a large resealable plastic bag. Combine the brown sugar, broth, oil, soy sauce, and green onions and pour over the salmon. Cover and refrigerate for one hour, turning once. Drain and discard marinade. Place salmon skin side down on grill over medium heat. Arrange lemon and onion slices on top. Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes on grill or until fish flakes easily with a fork, or broil 3 to 4 inches from heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
