I've never been able to get the hang of working with thread. I wish I could, I have a friend that crochets beautiful doilies.

Linda, hope the surgery went well.
Next Saturday, I will be walking the Survivor Lap at the Relay for Life with my mom. I have stage IV breast cancer, and my mom is a survivor of non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
I also have a friend that will have a tent there selling crafts and baked goods. I have been working all year making hats and crocheted top hanging towels for her to sell also. All the sales will go to the American Cancer Society.

   My Mom is a 19 year survivor of breast cancer this year.
It is a wonderful thing you are doing with your Mother
