Default Apple Relish

Apple Relish
1 large red cooking apple, chopped
1 large tart green apple, chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup)
1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
In 2-quart saucepan, stir together all ingredients. Heat to boiling over high heat; reduce heat to low. Cook 4 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until onion is just tender.
Spoon relish into heatproof container; cool to room temperature. Cover tightly and refrigerate. Serve relish chilled or at room temperature. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
