Default Daylight Saving Time Ends

It's time to turn your clock back an hour this weekend. Daylight saving time ends early Sunday morning.
That means you should set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed Saturday night.
The time officially switches back to Eastern Standard Time one minute after 1:59 a.m. Nov. 3, "falling back" to 1 a.m.
Most of us will gain an extra hour of sleep, but those who work overnight may have to work an extra hour.
Though that extra hour seems like a good way to get more rest, the time change can affect your sleep patterns. But sleep experts say there are ways you can reset your sleep pattern and prepare for the change before daylight saving time ends.
Doctors recommend modifying your schedule early. Set your alarms ahead an hour a few days before.
Also, keep hydrated. Drinking lots of water helps the body adjust to the change in time and sleep patterns.

After we fall back on Sunday, stay active during the day, and do something relaxing a few hours before what would normally be your bedtime.

You may not have to change every clock in your home. Most cell phones and devices with an Internet connection should set back their own clocks. Your Bright House Networks cable set-top box will also fall back automatically.
