Prayer Request

I would like for everyone to remember my brother-in-law, sister, and their family in your prayers. He had a stroke the middle of last week and his left side is totally paralyzed. He is 50 years old. He won't be able to work and my sister doesn't have a job. She called me about midnight tonight and said they had to do emergency brain surgery because his brain was swelling so bad...and if they didn't his brain could explode. She said they cut his head open and took part of his skull and put it in his abdomen. If he is doing ok in about 2 months they will take the skull from his abdomen and put it back in his head. I feel so sorry for them. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!!

Linda, how come they put part of his skull in his abdomen? Sorry, I have never heard of this done and am curious.
I will say a prayer for them.

Christy from what I understand they just operated on part of his brain so that is why only part of the skull. I talked with my sister this afternoon and he is unaware of what is going on. She said he will stay in ICU for a while, then he will go to a regular room for a while, and then have extensive therapy. The doctor told her he may be able to come home by the end of the year! I feel so bad for them. They don't have alot of money. I am taking the day off tomorrow and going down to the hospital.
