I am a southern too, and I don't do cold either, and next month we are moving to the smokey mountains. Heard they got a lot of snow this weekend. Eeeeekkkkkkk!speechless

when i got up this morning it was melting and now it's all gone. yea!!!!!!!!!! the mountains can be pretty but if you have to deal with snow.............i don't want to be there. good luck to you thou.

We have had 60 degree days for all of January, so I couldn't complain this weekend when I seen some white stuff...but it is gone today, so I will wish warm winds your way.

I would have to say that Karen and I are very spoiled here in So. Calif. The weather for the last week has been 75 - 85 degrees. My kids are laughing because the Ground Hog saw his shadow and now we have summertime weather, it was supposed to be colder. They decided that there should be a Ground Hog for the Eastern states and one for California because our weather is usually warm. If it is 50 degrees I am freezing so I know we could not live where it snows.

I am so tired of the rain, if I hear the word "drought" one time this summer, I might explode. I thought the worst was over with the flooding, now its freezing, hailing and generally miserable. I cannot wait for my vacation next week, I'm going to Laughlin, NV to dry out and warm up.
