Our school banned the sharing/selling of sweets, treats, and all homemade food items this year. No more bringing in cupcakes for your kid's b-day.

They did the same thing this year at my Granddaughters school. They said instead of bringing in cupcakes for their birthday they can give a pencil! They are taking all the fun away from the kids.

Ours did too because of peanut allergies. If anything says trace amounts on the back of a product it could have been processed on the same machine as peanuts. So no baked goods. They don't even let us put PB&J in their lunch boxes and that is the only sandwich my son will eat.

I think this theory of "let's punish the masses to satisfy one or two" is such a joke. The school can set up a single table that is the designated "nut free" table. The kids with allergies can sit there. If the school started dictating what I could and couldn't put in my kid's own lunch, they'd have a serious fight on their hands.

I agree Karen! We just moved here to NC from SC where the lunches in SC were $1.25 and here they are $1.75. And if he can't take PB&J then he normally wants to eat in the cafeteria. And an added $.50 a day is alot to me.

That was extremely fast! I received this in the mail yesterday.

Bag of splenda
recipes for cookies and cupcakes ect..
coffee blends u add to coffee for flavor
5 $1.00 off coupons
flyers for bake sale

I loved it, we haven't purchased sugar in 2 years and the recipes came in handy.
