My hubby was so torn watching that game. He likes Eli Manning and Brett Favre.

I used to belong to a group of 40 people that rotated hosting
football parties every year. The host supplied necessities like
napkins, plates, glassware, etc. and everyone else brought some
type of food to share. I've got a bunch of old recipes we all traded
if I can find them.

The person that brought this dip to the parties called it:

World's Best Cream Cheese & Pineapple Dip

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups crushed pineapple, drained with juice reserved
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
DIRECTIONS

In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, crushed pineapple,
onion powder and garlic. Mix in reserved juice from pineapple as desired. Chill in the refrigerator until serving.

Serve with plain crackers or unsalted chips.
