A ton of groceries (not only the fast food places, but also the grocery store was closed for a while after the hurricane, even tho they have generators, they were worried about the safety of their employees). All I could think about this morning was FOOD!
The lady checking out ahead of me had on a red t-shirt I just glanced at. She musta had a dozen loaves of bread, 2 big containers of mustard, a half dozen packages of cheese and same amount of lunchmeat. I asked her if she was buying for a daycare. She pointed to her shirt and said she was with the Red Cross and that she was buying lunch fixin's for the shelter they had opened nearby.
