I placed an order and now they want my credit card copied front and back and a copy of my drivers license. Have you ever hear of this? I have ordered from dozens of complanies on line and never had this PLUS I pay off my card every month so i know there is not a problem with the balance. Anyone have this before. confused

I wouldn't do it, people can use copies of these things to steal your identity. Trust me, I've been there. Ask them if there is another way and explain your concern.

they emailed me. I wrote back and said pretty much what i had posted above and said i would not send anything, and if it be---they could cancel my order---no response yet. I had not gotten any confirmation and was wondering about that to begin with. I can live without the flashlights but wonder if it is the company or "a person in the company" that is doing this.
