Default Any Northeasterners??

I'm going to have to transplant to the west coast or down south not to feel left out.. There must be some lilly white people with yankee accents?
Actually I enjoy the diversity thats here and the fact that everyone shares with each other.

Heya,

I've been in Wilmington, NC since April 1994 - after the big snow storm (March 1993) where I got stuck at a dinner party for 3 days lol, I said yes when my company wanted to relocate me down south. I get back to NY and CT to visit but I do NOT miss the snow

Default northeasterner (for now)

I lived in upstate NY for 31 years and had my share of Noreasterns and below zero weather. It wouldn't be so bad if there were 3 months of each season but it seems the cold weather is around for 6-7 months.
When I got married 10 years ago I moved "down south " to CT. Guess what?? For the past few years we've gotten more snow here than where I was from in NY. I can't win. My hubby and I have decided that when we retire(years from now) we will buy a place in FL and live there at least 5 months to avoid all this.
Today was 50 degrees and will go back down to 20's by Sat. This is after the 24" we received this past Sun.speechless
