Well, it's all of 25 here this morning, with the wind chill taking it down to 21. The GOOD news is that the wind has died down quite a bit (only 3mph this morning), and our high is sposed to be about 47, but we're SUNNY!

A large mass of Arctic air was centered over the northern plains...with a ridge of high pressure extending southward all the way to northwest Oklahoma...and on toward south Texas. Cold and dry air will penetrate the Gulf of Mexico...while an upper level ridge also builds into the plains from the west over the next few days. This will keep the weather very dry...with no chance for precipitation. With clear skies and light north winds...the coldest temperatures of the week will occur this morning. At 6 am...the coldest reading was 10 degrees at Buffalo in northwest Oklahoma.
