Photo Printer

I'm really enjoying my new digital camera, and now that I have the 81/2 X 11 sheets of photo paper (from the fabulous deal previously posted on Mbb for 1.98 per box of 50s sheets-- about 4 cents a sheet-- up to five boxes with free shipping) I'm ready to start printing my own pictures! After all, cant always go with the freebie post cards at Vista print!

The only photo printers I've seen listed though, just give a 4X6 size picture. I'd like more flexibility in the sizes I print... including some of the bigger sizes.... letter size or even larger.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the make/model I should look into? Or a great cheapie <$30 4X6 size printer to get started with?

Do you know if it comes with ink? I read somewhere that some printers don't come with it - sorry if it is stated somewhere on the ad, but I didn't see it - Lorri

Yes, it comes with ink. I looked into it and it seems that the set of ink cartridges is expected to last long enough for the 40 sheets of paper it comes with... at least thats they way things are typically shipped for "thermal printers."

Even though the $26 for the printer sounds like a great deal, if I dont use it, its not really a bargain. I'm still trying to decide myself....
