today in my crockpot i made a homemade spaghetti sauce and then an hour or so later as that was keeping warm i had made some homemade meatballs and stuck them in there. yum'
then i made some eggplant parm. and some spaghetti.

I dont' like to leave my crockpot on when I'm not home (something my mom kinda drilled into me as a kid.. old habits are hard to break, lol) I leave it on overnight and then it's quick to reheat when I get home.. I made this amazing pork chops with gravy and rice yesterday.. delish!
Progresso vegetable soup, worked today and was very tired from the game yesterday, I like the Progresso line of soups, if I cant make homemade they are my choice I get the low sodium ones

I'm still waiting on my dinner. I've never had much luck with crockpots so I called my daughter earlier today to get some tips since she uses them often. I put a 3 lb. pork roast and vegetables in a little before 6 PM and put it on high for 4 hours. I went in at 10:30 PM all ready to eat and the roast was still bloody inside! I put it back on for 4 more hours on high. I think I'll give up on crockpots. Meanwhile I grabbed a ham sandwich.

I use mine all the time........remember to add liquid of some sort and never open the lid.
I usually cook my meals on low all day............mmmmmm tender.

Ds is having crab salad.. I haven't eaten.. still reeling from the pizza I had at lunchtime.. (I really need to stop it with the buffalo chicken pizza, he made it really extra hot today)
