Remember that what seems adequate now, can change tomorrow. Think about future needs as well, like college. My cousin did a smart thing - she asked for no reduction in child support until BOTH children turn 18. Her resoning was that her daughter should have the same quality of life that her son had.

I wish the best of luck to you .... however, I gringe when I see all the bad things said towards men. Bleed him dry..... we automatically assume all men are horrible. there are some good men out there that are not deserving of "bleeding dry". sorry i guess seeing things from the other side and being with a man who is getting bled dry things are different

thanks everyone. People have reasons for making their comments Jenn.......I'm sorry if you've found any to be offensive.
All in all I just want whats fair for me and my children. In my case my ex never was there for them or me. I not only had my normal job but it was me that did everything with and for my children. These are children he wanted too.
I'm not here to bash.........I just need some opinions and advice.
I appreciate all my buddies input
