Unhappy Does anyone else have this problem?

I get really aggravated at sites that "require" a street address and won't accept post office boxes....I would LOVE to send some of them a short comment. I live in WV and all we have is po boxes where I live Some places here are getting mail delivered to boxes at their house or in cluster boxes at certain locations, but we don't have it here....The people you owe money to don't have a problem with po boxes, so.......................I just get frustrated. We now have a house number for the 911 system, but it has nothing to do with your postal address-- its for ems, police, fire etc.. I was just wondering what others thought..speechless

I hear ya...sounds frustrating....

I have a PMB not a POB which just means it is something I pay for at Mail Box Etc or Postnet. For whatever reason P.O. boxes have gotten a bad rap in business the past decade. PMBs or Personal Mail Boxes seem to still be acceptable. I think they cost about the same, not sure if that might be an option for you

Other thing is if you really want to participate in an offer - send an e-mail through the contact button saying what you just did above. It's a reasonable explanation and I'll bet most companies would accomodate you.

I'll try that...maybe it will work. The only option we have here is the po box....They didn't put in the clusterbox or the ones at your house here because our post office stayed open.....

Lightbulb An idea...

How about a section in the Freebies area of the board where we can
post offers that do accept P.O. Box addresses.

Or, in the newsletter ask members to indicate in their posts whether or not
P.O. Box addresses are accepted.

Either of these ways would save members time checking offers by letting them know first off if they only have a P.O. Box address

My mom has the same problem where she lives in Texas. She is so far out of town, UPS or Fedex doesn't even deliver to her. She doesn't have a street address, just a number in case of fire, which they would never find her house!
