My son plays Football

My son that started High School this year played in his first freshman football
game last thursday night. They won!!!!!!!! Go Tritons... Even tho I know nothing at all about football,Id better learn fast. It was amazing for me watching him out there on the field with his helmet and uniform. It seams like just yesterday he was my little baby in diapers......

Those darn kids! You turn around and they grow-up on you! Now you are officially a "football mom". Maybe someday he will play for my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers! (They beat poor Cleveland yesterday 34-7). Its kind of hard watching someone tackling your baby, isn't it? Enjoy the season!

I know what you mean about kids growing up. My twin daughters will be 30 on September 22nd....really hard for me to believe. I told them over the weekend they couldn't be that age because I was only 29.............LOL

Congrats to him! My son is a senior and on the varsity wrestling team. The first time i saw him get twisted into a pretzel i almost cried.. lol but now i'm a pro at wrestling

What I remember MOST happened off the field. My son's appetite became even bigger AND if he brought a couple hungry friends over...WOWZA! I did a LOT of grocery shopping during those years.

Also, my DD dated a BIG H.S. football star and the magic dust was sprinkled on her too. That was one big letter jacket...
