SEEKING SOCIAL SCIENCE PROFESSIONALS AND RESEARCHERS
(INCLUDING PROFESSORS, STUDENTS, AND NON-ACADEMIC
RESEARCH ASSOCIATES) FOR PAID (BETA) USABILITY TESTING
With a grant from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), Sociometrics Corporation (www.socio.com
in Los Altos, CA is developing a data archive that is designed to be
used in analyzing the consequences of welfare reform in states.
The data will be available online as well as on CD-ROM.
We are recruiting a wide range of professionals who have a social
science degree including College students, professors, teachers and
those engaged in policy research. We are seeking feedback on the
format, design, comprehensiveness of the archive as well as whether
it is easy to use. We expect the usability test to last for 45 minutes
to an hour.
Participation can be ON or OFFSITE.
Onsite usability testing will take place at Sociometrics Corporation,
170 State St., Suite 260, Los Altos, CA 94022.
A compensation of $150 will be offered for on-site testers.
We can schedule a time that is convenient for you.
You can also participate in off-site usability testing by viewing the
product online (at your home or elsewhere) and providing feedback.
You simply need a computer with internet access to view the website.
