Do you have any St. Patrick's Day traditions?
To start, a leprechaun always uses the bathroom and doesn't flush, leaving it all green.
I make an all green dinner with green drinks. It varies as to my mood but it is always green!
So, what are yours?

Well,
We love to watch the parades on T.V. - there are always all the bag pipe bands and it is so beautiful it makes me almost cry...
Hubby usually starts cooking the day before (this year make that last night lol) every traditional Irish Dish from his families side.....also, the best thing is it's his birthday so we get to celebrate twice as much, hee, hee, hee

No Traditions
Don't have any traditions for St. Patrick's Day except to wear
green.
If I get a chance to go out to a pub, I order whatever
Irish dish(es) they have on the menu. The Irish are such good
cooks.
I enjoy trying foods from other countries/cultures.

I sprinkle green and gold glitter around the house and hide quarters for the kids so they can find a "pot of gold"

We go out with several families to a local joint and eat and drink until our hearts are content. The place we go to sets up tents in the back and our group normally fills up an entire tent. We have so much fun. There are bands, bagpipes, people dressed in costume, and of course, corned beef and cabbage. We would normally be there for the entire afternoon and evening but not this year. We can't afford the cost of what it takes to party that long so we are only going to go for a few hours, that way we only have to eat once while there and save some money. I'll still make corned beef and cabbage here at home...I just can't get enough of the stuff!!! And no, I'm not Irish but my dh is.
