Day After Thanksgiving "Hot Spots"

Where do you shop the day after?
What deals have you gotten in the past and what do you expect to find this year?
What store(s) is on your "not to be missed" list?

I am relatively new to this American Thanksgiving sales - I am from Canada so we get Boxing Day (day after Christmas).

Well always look out for the door busters J C Penny has good stuff and i love shopping at sears for Balck Friday.I will post abt Black Friday deals if i come across some good ones.
It would be a great idea if we conitnue posting on a thread abt all the black friday deals that we find.

I am usually searching for toys, so I always hit the big box stores first. First I hit Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, Best Buy, and anywhere I see an ad for something I like. I've gotten lots of great deals on toys over the years and wouldn't have had much of a Christmas without them. Also got dh a leather jacket for $30 a couple of years ago, but it only lasted him through one season.

Kohl's usually has some terrific deals after Thanksgiving too but the lines are extremely long. We went one year and left without buying anything since all the lines wrapped clear to the back of the store. I just don't need anything that badly.

I agree!!!!!!! Never go to kohls unless you line up at 2-3am for the 5a opening!

I agree Nan...also Childrens place and bath and body.

This year I'm hitting the outlets. They open at Midnight........something different

i went to walmart a couple times but i gave up on that. nothing worth waiting in those long lines for. i hope that some stores around here will be open at midnight instead of 5 am

I often hit Radio Shack and Ace Hardware first. Not too many in line, and Ace Hardware has free items after rebate every year. Also I have a card with Ace Hardware and after buying so much from them, I get a coupon for something like $5 off anything.
