I've heard of this before. I think it is nuts but if cancer runs in your family I can see why you would consider it. Just had a scare myself, had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound done yesterday and thankfully, everything was fine. If it could save my life though...chop 'em off!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 at the age of 39; there was a strong history of cancer in my family, and I chose to have the bilateral mastectomy; it turned out that I had pre cancerous cells in the "good" breast, so I have not regretted my decision.
