Yeah, dh's brother just moved to Phoeniz, AZ. They were looking at a home that was maybe 1/4 the size of ours and it was $330,000. Yikes! Of course I'm sure the pay is higher where they are, but the cost of living is higher as well.
Thank you and yes it was! LOL I never imagined I would wind up buying the first home I have EVER looked at. I called my dad all excited because I'm the first of his daughters to own a home AND it's bigger than his! haha
CONGRATS!! I'M GLAD YOU DIDNT LET THE HOUSE HUNTING EXPERIENCE GET YOU DOWN AND YOU FOLLOWED THRU WITH WHAT YOU WANTED. I DID THE SAME THING FIRST HOUSE I LOOKED AT I FEEL IN LOVE WITH AND OF COURSE OUT OF OUR PRICE RANGE. BUT I NEVER GAVE UP MADE OFFER AND THE PEOPLE ACTUALLY ACCEPTED OUR LOWER OFFER OVER OTHERS BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY LIKED US AND SAW HOW MUCH WE LOVED THE HOUSE! SO GREAT JOB!! IT IS REALLY HUGE!! BUT HEY MORE ROOM FOR THE FREEBIES!!
