Keeping Baby Safe Research Project
Are you a parent or legal guardian of a newborn or toddler?
Is your oldest child younger than 24 months?
If you answered YES to both questions above, you may be eligible
to receive up to $50 for participating in the Keeping Baby Safe
We have developed a program to teach child injury prevention skills
to parents of young children, and we need your help to test the
program. This is a research study. That means you will be randomly
(by chance, like the flip of a coin) assigned to be in one of two groups.
- One group will view 2 DVDs on child injury prevention.
- The other group will read written materials about child injury prevention.
This research study is funded by the National Institute on Child Health
and Human Development and conducted by the Oregon Center for
Applied Science. There are no sales or mailing lists involved.
