If you don't want to spend a lot of money, I was just at Steve and Barry's and was looking at Sarah Jessica Parker's line of clothing. She has a great line with some classic clothes, great pieces that looked tailored and perfect for interviews. The price point is $8.98 for each piece.

I have bought alot from her line- it hold up and everypiece is under $20.00. I really like it- you can mix alot of the pieces to make them "interview attire" to" out and about attire".
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR INTERVIEW~

I would only add one thing to Mary's list - a smile!

I ran a job training program for 5 years and taught an resume/interview class at a Tech College for 4.
  1. Make sure you offer a firm, confident handshake and have a question or two for the end of the interview. You could ask about insurance, continuing education, or the dress code.
  2. Sit all the way back in your chair and cross your legs at the ankles. You are less likely to fidgit in this position.
  3. A small pad and a nice pen (not a give-away pen) will give you something to hold on to if you need something in your hands.

A thought for you too... consider your local Goodwill Store. There are lots of womens clothes that end up in them that are high quality and some even designer labels, also some come in and have never even been worn. If you know these clothes are only going to be worn a few times then give this some serious thought... I am not a person to buy a lot of dress clothes because I dont need them so when situations come up I look in these kinds of stores first to try to save myself some money. Just a thought... and GL!
