Helpmarker Auto fill for surveys

I am kind of what they would call a computer idiot and I was just curious about those auto fill thingy's for surveys and such. How do they work? Do you have to pay to get them? Any idea of where I can get them? What are the draw backs of using them instead of doing it manually? I am just getting sick of typing the same thing over and over and over . . . . for sample offers and sweepstakes. Please help!

Awhile back someone suggested using RoboForm...I believe if you just google it, it'll come up. And I think the standard version is free.

If you use Internet Explorer, go to Tools on your task bar. Then click on Internet options, then on the content tab. At the bottom you will see personal info - auto complete. You can adjust the settings from there. Hope this helps

I did this autofill thingy today and what a difference it makes!!!! I went crazy signing up for sweepstakes and freebies. I do a good job with out it, but now I can do it in twice the time!!! If you haven't tried this yet, give it a try, it is not at all intimidating. I did the roboform like Lindsay suggested. Thank you so much to both of you for letting me on this wonderful tool!

Ok - this is a link to the ONLY version of Roboform that is free and does not expire or have limits on number of passwords stored. When it tells you that there might be a available update from Roboform DO NOT update it - or you will loose the ability to have all the passwords & profiles for free unlimited.

http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/page7.html

Also - NEVER download Gator. It is full of spyware.

If you use Firefox instead of IE it will save passwords for you also - except for banking sites.
